The Reels led by guitarist and vocalist Lanny Ray started to gather notoriety and momentum after their first CD “Bare Bones”.
“Bare Bones” led to successfully opening for George Thorogood on a Northern California tour and getting the attention of Sirius Radio ‘s Pat StJohn.
A second CD followed called “Reelin’”and between Sirius Radio and the California Fair Circuit the Power Trio from Southern California noted for their full live sound began to build an underground following . With the club scene not very lucrative today they are playing only selected live dates and are planning a third CD. They still can be heard on Sirius Radio Blues Channel 74 by request.
